SUMMARY:Open Source Summit Europe/ELC/OpenIoT Summit
DESCRIPTION:Civil Infrastructure Platform will be attending Open Source Summit Europe\, which will be co-located with ELC/OpenIoT Summit. Developers\, architects and other technologists – as well as open source community and industry leaders – will gather to collaborate\, share information\, learn about the the latest technologies and gain a competitive advantage by using innovative open solutions. \nCIP members Yoshitake Kobayashi\, CIP Chair of the Technical Steering Committee and Senior Manager of Open Source Technology Department\, Toshiba Corporation\, and Urs Gleim\, CIP Chair of the Governing Board and Head of Smart Embedded Systems\, Siemens AG\, will give a presentation about how far the project has come in two years and what’s in store in the future. This session will cover strategies for super long-term support (SLTS) and an open source base layer (OSBL) as well as updates for how CIP is supporting and working with Debian and Real-time Linux.
